Emerald Coast Airport Shuttle, Built Around This Market
247 Airport Shuttle is based in Santa Rosa Beach and runs airport transportation across the full stretch of the Florida Panhandle — from Pensacola through Destin, Fort Walton Beach, and down the 30A corridor to Panama City Beach. Every ride goes to or from one of the three regional airports: VPS at Eglin Air Force Base, ECP in Panama City Beach, and PNS in Pensacola. We run 24 hours a day, every day, with no surge charges.
The company is owned and operated by Ruben Garcia, a resident of Santa Rosa Beach area. He started 247 Airport Shuttle after recognizing that most visitors to the Emerald Coast arrive by air and have no reliable, locally operated option once they land. The big apps fluctuate on pricing. Shared shuttles run on the operator’s schedule, not yours. A local company that tracks your flight, knows the roads, and picks up the phone at 2 a.m. is a different thing entirely.
Why Local Matters on the Emerald Coast
This market has geography that matters. VPS sits inside Eglin Air Force Base — the physical address is 1701 State Road 85 North, Eglin AFB — and it’s actually closer to Destin and Fort Walton Beach than the name suggests, about 16 miles from downtown Destin. ECP in Panama City Beach is the primary gateway to 30A, roughly 20 to 30 minutes from Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and Watercolor depending on where you’re staying. PNS in Pensacola is about an hour from Destin and closer to 90 minutes from southern 30A. Knowing which airport to recommend, and what the drive actually looks like during spring break weekend versus a Tuesday in January, comes from operating here — not from a dispatch center somewhere else.
30A in particular changes character street by street. A driver who knows the difference between Seagrove Beach and Seacrest, or why WaterColor and Watercolor Beach Resort aren’t the same destination, saves you the conversation at 11 p.m. after a delayed flight.

Flight Tracking and Pricing
Every airport pickup includes real-time flight monitoring. If your flight is delayed in Atlanta or gets rerouted through Charlotte, your driver knows before you land. No waiting in the baggage claim for someone who left at the original arrival time. No rebooking. The pickup adjusts automatically.
Pricing is quoted before you book. What you’re told when you reserve is what you pay, the Mid-Bay Bridge toll is not included in the fare. We accept cash and all major credit cards. No prepayment or credit card information is required to make a reservation.
Vehicles and Standards
The fleet is a SUV or Large Shuttle Van. All vehicles are clean, smoke-free, and maintained. Car seats available up request. Luggage handling is included. If you’re traveling with oversized bags, golf clubs, or fishing gear, let us know at booking and we’ll confirm the right vehicle.
Drivers are licensed, insured, and locally vetted. 247 Airport Shuttle is licensed to operate ground transportation to and from VPS, ECP, and PNS, and is listed in the official ground transportation directory at FlyVPS.com.
